DFD ANSWRED 71 ALARMS DURING MAY AND JUNE
North Greenbush –DeFreestville Fire Department volunteers answered 30 emergency alarms in May and another 41 in June, according to the monthly reports of DFD Fire Chief Raymond Swart. The Chief noted the May and June calls raised the total for the first six months of the year to 211 alarms and involved more than 618 fire fighter hours and the alarms for the two months. DFD APPARATUS TAKE ON NEW ROLES, CONTINUE TO SERVE
North Greenbush – An innovative project completed at the end of 2009 saw three DeFreestville Fire Department emergency vehicles being renovated and changing their roles in serving the community, according to Fire Chief Raymond Swart.

DFD REPEATS ALARM TOTAL WITH 34 DURING APRIL
North Greenbush – Volunteers of the DeFreestville Fire Department in North Greenbush Fire District #1 responded to 34 emergency alarms during April, the same total for the prior month, making a total of 140 alarms during the first four months of 2010, according to the monthly report of DFD Fire Chief Raymond Swart. DFD ANSWERS 34 ALARMS DURING MARCH
North Greenbush – Volunteers of the DeFreestville Fire Department in North Greenbush Fire District #1 responded to 34 emergency alarms during March, for a total of 106 alarms during the first quarter of 2010, according to the monthly report of DFD Fire Chief Raymond Swart.
